The members of Glendale Hose Company # 1 continue to serve Scott Township proudly. Our company along with Bower Hill(255) and East Carnegie(256) protect a total of about 17,000 residents in a roughly four square mile radius.

The Firefighters of our company are highly trained in many aspects. We answer calls from house fires to vehicle accidents. In our Station you will find a 102ft. Arial Platform truck for high-rise rescue or master stream operations, A rescue truck with the famous "Jaws-Of-Life", and an Engine that carries a state of the art Thermal Imaging Camera(TIC). All this equipment wouldn't be possible without the generosity and support of our friends and neighbors, the citizens of Scott Township.

JUNIOR FIREFIGHTERS
Being a junior firefighter is a rewarding way to learn skills used in firefighting. Upon learning a minimum number of skills, our juniors can and are expected to respond to emergency calls under the supervision of senior firefighters. The jobs that junior firefighters perform free up qualified senior firefighters to perform other crucial tasks.
